City of Chickasha Logo Welcome to Chickasha, Oklahoma. We are located approximately 30 minutes south of the Oklahoma City metro area. Easily accessible by travel on U.S. Highways 81 and 62 or on four-lane Interstate 44, we are the gateway to Southwest Oklahoma.

While Chickasha is a small community, with approximately 16,000 people living in the city limits, most of your needs can be met without leaving town. Chickasha is home to healthcare providers, pharmacies, groceries, furniture, hardware, appliances, electronics, jewelry, clothing, sporting goods, computer repair sand supply, lumber and building supplies, gifts and home accessories, automobile sales and repair, and much more. We are also the home of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

You can not only live in Chickasha, you can work here as well. Chickasha is home to many industries, employing hundreds of residents and non-residents. Our local industries are served by and take advantage of the Chickasha Municipal Airport. At the airport you will find airplane maintenance, sales and flight training, in addition to the sale of gasoline and jet fuel. Our runways are in great shape, with the primary runway measuring 5,100 feet long.

In the last 10 years, Chickasha has seen the construction or reconstruction of many major improvements, including the sports complex, bridges, streets, playgrounds and city facilities. Chickasha has been and will continue to be progressive-minded while keeping the tax rate in check.

Each year, visitors are drawn to Chickasha, thanks to the Festival of Light, Arts Festival, sporting events and other entertainment opportunities.
