Food Pantries & Soup Kitchens

There are three food pantries and one soup kitchen located in Chickasha:

Veteran Assistance

    Provides assistance to Veterans for filing VA claims.

Grady County Chapter 17 is the oldest Veterans Service Organization in the State of Oklahoma. We are here to assist Veterans in order to have a better quality of life."

Senior Assistance

  • 2020 Masonic Grant
    ASCOG has received funding from the Masonic Charitable Foundation to assist seniors who need assistance for basic needs such as hearing aids, dentures, glasses, ADA ramps, minor home repairs, etc. Click here to download the application. Clothing Assistance

Washita Valley Community Action Council 

Washita Calley Community Action Council provides Head Start programs along with trasnportation, housing and weatherization services and more. Learn more at


The OKDHSLive! web site is an easy way to see if you might be eligible for Food Benefits or SoonerCare Medicaid. You may also use the web site to renew your eligibility for SNAP, SoonerCare or Child Care, or to apply for these benefits. Visit their website at


Oklahoma 2-1-1 provides information about a variety of resources, including utility bill assistance, crisis helplines, emergency shelter, low cost healthcare, employment assistance, disaster assistance and more.
