The Parks and Recreation Director is appointed by the City Manager. The Director is responsible for overall park and recreation operations for the City of Chickasha.
PARK OFFICE:
The Park Office is located at 502 N. Genevieve Street. Office
hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Cemeteries are open from 6:00 am to 30 minutes after dusk.
INFORMATION
Chickasha Parks and Recreation Department has over 2,000 acres of land in our Parks System which includes 7 park sites, 1 swimming pool, 1 recreation center, 1 community center, 6 tennis courts, 4 softball fields, 1 football field, 8 baseball fields, 7 covered picnic pavilions, fishing at Shannon Springs Park for persons under 16, over 65 or handicapped, agility course, ADA accessible walking path, 3 basketball courts, 1 lake with camping, fishing, hunting and recreation areas and 2 cemeteries.

Shannon Springs Park host the annual Festival of Lights displays and 4th of July celebration along with various civic and charitable organizations functions.
The picnic pavilions, amphitheater and community center may be reserved for a small fee. For information or to reserve the facilities, contact the City Clerk's Office at 405-222-6020.

The Skate Park is located on the east side of Borden Park just off of 18th Street. The Skate park is open from Dawn to Dusk.
