The Board of Adjustments consists of a five (5) member board, which is appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council.

The Board hears appeals concerning alleged errors in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official in the enforcement of the Planning and Zoning ordinances.

The Board of Adjustment also acts as the City's Floodplain Board of Appeals. This appeal board hears and renders judgment on requests for variances from the requirements of the City's Floodplain Ordinance.

Each term shall be for three (3) years.
